WRAP AROUND STORY FOR

THE HORROR SEASONS:

ANGELICA

Angelica is a college student. One day when she is checking out the bulletin board in the lunch area she finds a handout about a free lecture and writing workshop being presented by the author of the popular book VAMPIRES THRU HISTORY AND LITERATURE, Professor Terrance Vance.

The thing that makes Angelica uneasy though is that the lecture is at night and there've been a series of murders centered on the night school. Four women have been found dead, with the blood drained from their bodies. Though, the police have increased security the murders still seem to happen. Yet Angelica decides to attend.

That evening Angelica goes to the lecture. When she gets there she finds that there are only four other people in attendance (These will be Gareth and representative characters from the other stories.).

Professor Vance arrives and, after having them all signed in, unveils the subject of the evening: THE HORROR SEASONS. This subject is less than popular with the class. The only person who seems as enthusiastic about it as the Professor is Angelica. The Professor tries to explain that the time of year a story is can really set the tone for the story. Angelica seems to understand this, but the others remain unconvinced.

At this time one of the people (Gareth from THE DARKEST SECRET) gets a cellphone call and disrupts the class. He starts yelling at the person at the other end of the phone and tells them to stop being so weak. Professor Vance decides to use this person for his first story example, which leads us into the story of THE DARKEST SECRET. After the professor finishes the story the person is shocked and amazed because the professor has mentioned things from his life that he couldn't possibly know. Similar things happen with the characters from the other stories. Professor Vance uses them as examples and leads us into the stories.

After the last of the stories is told all the characters from the stories leave amazed yet less than happy with the experience. Angelica, who is the only one who is not made an example of, feels left out. Professor Vance apologizes for not having the time to include her, but he volunteers to escort her to her car, given the recent murders. Angelica accepts.

As Professor Vance walks Angelica to her car he starts telling her her story, which is the story of her coming to the lecture even though she knows it's dangerous. Angelica asks him how the story ends...He says unfortunately.

Surprised Angelica looks up at the professor and see that his face has changed into that of a vampire. Before Angelica can scream, the professor grabs her and bites her in the neck.

The story ends the next day when we see two little boys playing ball. One of the boys fail to catch the ball and it hits the ground and rolls. The ball bumps into Angelica's shoe. Angelica is sitting in a natural pose on a bench, but she is dead and drained of blood.
